The Student Association of Speech and Hearing (SASH) is a student society in the University of Sydney. SASH partners with other USYD societies and student representative groups for social events, educational resources and courses, and advocacy projects all related to speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
The society was formed by a group of speech pathology students over 10 years ago, originally under the Cumberland Guild at the late Lidcombe Health Science campus. In 2021, SASH officially joined the University of Sydney Union and we're now based in the Susan Wakil Health Building at Camperdown Campus. This marks a new era of expansion and growth, advocacy for the speech pathology profession, and support for students!
